The rules are simple: Post a riddle. It can be your own, or a published riddle, or something your friend came up with. Just credit the author, whether it's you or not.

The person who solves the riddle successfully gets to post the next riddle. When solved, the person who originally posted the riddle must post to confirm it, then turn over the Riddle Box to the winner. No person may go twice in a row (i.e. no solving the persons riddle who just solved yours...give others a chance). Also, please respect the spirit of the game: No googling, please. Use your noggin!

-If you can't solve the riddle, you can post "I Give". This will tell the riddle's creator how many people s/he's stumped.

-If enough people post "I Give", you can either repost (post a new riddle) or "Pass" to the last person who posted "I Give".

-Existing riddles are okay, but making up your own is more fun. I encourage people to make their own; especially since Google knows everything.

My usefulness can't be denied,

I can be created by humans,
but they cannot control me.
I suck on wood, paper, and flesh alike.
I can be more of a hindrance than a help at times.
To my creators, I seem to be everywhere at once.
What am I?
